Passionate about education, Dr. Shi has over 20 years of teaching experience. She has not only maintained a private studio, but also taught at CSU- Dominguez Hill, Cerritos College, Long Beach City College. ,and Irvine Valley College over the years. Her students ranges from 5-year-old to senior citizens. Many of her students have been admitted as piano and music majors into Universities like UCLA, USC, UCSB, CSU-Long Beach, and CSU-Fullerton. Dr. Shi regularly has students won local and national piano competitions, including SYMF Young Artist division, MTAC State Solo and Concerto competitions, Fullerton Ensemble Festival, Southern California Junior Bach Festival etc.
